If you are new to having a website, the Internet can be a minefield of confusing terminology. There is so much information available that it can be overwhelming when you don’t know where to start. Believe me, I’ve been there myself when I was first starting out in the online world. I needed hand-holding and certain things needed explaining to me a few times before they eventually sunk in.

These concepts are essential for you to know and understand as this terminology is very important when you want to put a website onto the Internet for the very first time. By understanding the terminology used you will have a better grasp of how to discuss your needs and requirements with your web designer, or indeed be able to tackle creating your own website if you a true DIYer.
