ASW Group have operated as one of the largest construction and maintenance companies in Wales for a number of years. However, they hadn’t previously organised resources into obtaining a website presence. That was until they realised that their target market were likely to be researching companies like them online. Especially looking into working practices in their market and how various companies provide solutions. Essentially, ASW Group were missing out on opportunities. Especially when their competition had a long established web presences that were routinely being used as a measuring tool by prospective clients.
ASW Group initially approached The SeedMill to create a new logo for them in order to drive their identity as being a little different within their market. Then, ASW Group asked The SeedMill to also provide a website design and build to launch a web presence. The website needed to showcase the business involvement within their community their ethical approach to their market.
After a round of initial meetings The SeedMill designed a logo and website for ASW Group through a series of prototypes and mockups. At each stage the business were encouraged to feed back. Then, taking into account consultancy provided by The SeedMill they provided business decisions. Eventually, strong design solutions were developed that the business were happy and that reflected ASW Groups’ involvement with their community and holistic approach.
The logo was delivered in a universal vector format and integrated throughout the business stationery and signage whilst the website moved from design phase to development.
The website was engineered to run behind a WordPress content management system, enabling the business to update virtually every part of their website whenever they chose to. WordPress was also tailored to provide the best editing experience for the business without the usual additional clutter irrelevant to the business goals. The SeedMill also provided a care plan in order to keep the website running smoothly even on the cheaper hosting procured by the company.
Finally, as part of a wider focus in their online presence, ASW Group also received training from The SeedMill on using social media as well as the WordPress content management system as employed on their website.
